Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring a minimum of 2 years of home health experience and proficiency with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and OASIS.

Details

• Home health setting covering a territory with a 50–75 mile radius
• Caseload of approximately 6–7 patients per day with a target of 30 points per week
• Types of cases include start of care (SOC), follow-up visits, and similar home health visits
• Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• Charting system: Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and OASIS
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required — must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of home health nursing experience required
• Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and OASIS experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• COVID vaccination and booster status required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
• Copy of certifications required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing start-of-care assessments, follow-up visits, and ongoing patient management in the home setting
• Scrubs or business casual attire required
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• Background check required and reviewed on a case-by-case basis
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
