Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Hospital at Home position, delivering acute-level inpatient care within patients' home environments, requiring a VA or Compact RN license and a BSN.

Details

• Home Health (Hospital at Home) setting, delivering acute-level inpatient care within patients' home environments
• Rotating 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 11:00 AM–11:00 PM
• 3x12-hour shift schedule
• Each patient receives an individualized plan of care guiding visit tasks and duties
• Care delivered using leveraged technology and remote clinical care coordination
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS rate

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required
• BSN required
• Minimum 3 years of critical care, acute care, or medical-surgical RN experience
• Minimum 12 months of experience in a home health or applicable RN role
• Must not have been employed by VCU Health within the previous 6 months
• 2 professional references at the supervisor level or above required for consideration
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE accreditation accepted)

Additional Information

• Responsible for implementing the inpatient care delivery model within the patient's living space using a team nursing model
• Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver therapeutic interventions in the home setting
• Assesses, documents, and manages patient care while maintaining high quality and safety standards
• This is a drug-free and tobacco-free workplace; smoking is not permitted on campus
• Natural nail policy is enforced
• Time-off requests should be submitted at the time of application, as requests submitted after placement may be declined
• Travelers are not guaranteed holidays off
