American Traveler is seeking a Home Health RN for a day shift position in the West Portland, OR area, requiring skilled home health experience and an active Oregon RN license.

Home health setting serving West Portland, OR and surrounding areas
-
Visits up to 6 patients per day with a standard productivity expectation of 30 points
-
8-hour day shifts (5x8); 4x10 and 3x12 schedules cannot be accommodated
-
No weekend or on-call requirements

Floating between all facilities within Oregon is required and refusal may result in termination of assignment

Charting via Epic Remote Client for Home Health (on laptop) and Rover (phone app); OASIS documentation required

OASIS experience is required for this position

Active Oregon (OR) RN license required

Current BLS certification required
-
Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience required

Epic EMR experience required

OASIS experience required

Personal reliable transportation required

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration

Primary COVID-19 vaccine series plus at least one booster required

Provide skilled nursing care to home health patients across West Portland and surrounding areas

The system groups clients to minimize drive and windshield time; occasional daily radius of up to approximately 60 miles (60–90 minutes total drive time) is possible

Business casual attire required; scrubs are allowed but not required, and jeans are not permitted

Local candidates are accepted; candidates living within a 50–75 mile radius are considered local and are eligible at the same rate

Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler, and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
-
RTO is expected to be minimal; a few days may be approved but significant RTO requests are discouraged
