American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel ICU/CCU position in Kirksville, MO, requiring critical care experience and ACLS certification for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Position is located in an Intensive/Coronary Care Unit (ICU/CCU) with 10 beds
-
Day shift schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Patient ratio of 1:1–3

EMR system: MedHost
-
Occasional floating may be required
-
13-week contract

Active MO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU/critical care experience required

Proficiency in drip titration and ventilator management

TNCC preferred; balloon pump and/or Impella experience preferred

Valid U.S. Driver's License required

U.S. Social Security Number required

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities include critical care nursing, drip titration, and ventilator management

Balloon pump and Impella experience is helpful but not required

Scrub color: any solid color

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 1+ year of recent ICU experience is required
