American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Illinois, requiring 2+ years of experience and on-call rotation availability.

Interventional Radiology/Pain Management department at a Level 1 Trauma Center
-
Day shift schedule: 5x8s, 6:30am–3:00pm
-
Every other weekend required (approximately 2 weekends per month), with occasional weekend day shifts (8:00am–4:30pm)

On-call rotation assigned on a weekly basis: M–F 12:00am–8:00am; weekends and holidays are 24-hour on-call; rotation is shared among all nurses

No holiday shifts scheduled except for on-call coverage

This is a mandatory float facility — travelers are required to float within the Radiology and Pain departments at the facility's discretion

Charting performed in Cerner

Lead aprons/protective equipment required during shifts

Active Illinois (IL) RN license required — no pending licensure accepted

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS

Interventional Radiology and/or Pain Management nursing experience required

Cerner EMR experience preferred

COVID vaccination proof required — no exceptions

Provide nursing care within an Interventional Radiology and Pain Management setting at a Level 1 Trauma Center

RTO is capped at 5 days per contract, with no more than 2 consecutive days off at a time
-
No RTO approved on weekends, on holidays, or the day before or after a holiday
-
Scrubs of any color are required and are not provided by the facility
-
Local candidates are accepted and preferred; candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility
