Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a rural community hospital in Hawaii, requiring a current HI RN license and prior L&D experience.

Details

• Rural community hospital setting in Hawaii
• Labor & Delivery and Nursery unit with couplet care
• Approximately 45–50 deliveries per month
• Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring required
• 12-hour night shifts
• 72–80 working hours per two-week pay period
• May float to assist other departments in a secondary capacity (not as primary nurse)
• Charge nurse duties may be assigned on a rotating basis

Requirements

• Active Hawaii (HI) RN license currently in hand — required prior to consideration
• Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, NRP
• Minimum 4 years of nursing experience required
• Prior Labor & Delivery experience required
• Couplet care and nursery experience required
• Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring experience required

Additional Information

• Provide L&D, nursery, and couplet care nursing in a rural Hawaii community hospital
• Charge nurse responsibilities may be assigned when needed
• 13-week contract
