American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a large hospital, requiring at least 2 years of travel experience with high-risk pregnancies and an active NJ RN license.

Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit in a large hospital setting

High-risk pregnancy patient population

Night shift schedule: 7p – 7a

36 hours per week across 3 x 12-hour shifts

13-week contract

Epic EMR used for charting

Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required

Active NJ RN license (or compact license) required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience in a large hospital L&D setting required

Experience with high-risk pregnancies required

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred

Two professional references required for consideration

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, delivering individualized nursing care, and maintaining thorough documentation throughout the continuum of care

Expected to uphold patient safety standards including National Patient Safety Goals and Universal Protocol

Patient and family education is a key component of this role

Epic charting experience is expected given facility EMR use

Travelers may be assigned to float to a nearby sister hospital facility
