Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Obstetrics RN for a Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and recovery position with night shift scheduling and occasional float responsibilities to Med-Surg.

Details

• Hospital-based OB unit covering labor & delivery, postpartum, and recovery
• Nurses are expected to float to the Med-Surg floor when census is low on the OB unit
• Night shift position
• Every third weekend required

Requirements

• Active Iowa (IA) or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE
• AWHONN certification preferred
• PALS may be required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities span the full OB continuum including labor & delivery, postpartum care, and patient recovery
• Must be comfortable floating to Med-Surg during low OB census periods
• 13-week contract
