American Traveler is seeking an experienced OB RN for a 13-week travel contract in rural Northwestern Arizona, requiring at least 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience and a flexible schedule including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Work setting is a JCAHO-accredited regional hospital serving the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute communities in a rural, culturally diverse area of Northwestern Arizona

OB unit providing antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and Labor & Delivery care
-
Schedule is flexible across day, evening, and night shifts, including weekends
-
13-week assignment

Active AZ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP (AHA), and AWHONN Intermediate EFM
-
Minimum of 2 years of OB nursing experience across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and Labor & Delivery

SSN required for consideration

Provides comprehensive, family-centered nursing care to mothers and babies across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, and assists physicians and midwives during examinations and procedures

AWHONN Advanced EFM, NIHSS, STABLE, and ALSO certifications will be required within 6–12 months of hire

Orientation is scheduled every 2 weeks

Fingerprinting must be completed and cleared prior to start date; this process is handled via mail during compliance

COVID and flu vaccine exemptions may be considered upon submission of a declination form

Hospital-provided shared contractor housing may be available; a housing application must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the start date

No pets or family members are permitted in the contractor housing per hospital policy
