American Traveler is hiring a temporary Marketing Project Manager to support a hospital health system's Marketing and Communications team, requiring 6-8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Position is based primarily remote with one required on-site day per Tuesday

Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week on 8-hour shifts

Supports the Marketing and Communications department of a large health system

Role involves cross-functional collaboration with Community Engagement, Development, and Event Management teams

Responsible for managing 1-2 signature hospital events in addition to ongoing marketing campaigns and inbound project requests

Active MA RN license required at time of consideration — note: this is a non-clinical project management role; confirm licensure requirements with your recruiter

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is required
-
6-8 years of relevant marketing and communications project management experience required

Healthcare and/or agency experience preferred

Project Management Certificate preferred

Proficiency with PM tools such as Airtable and Asana required

Experience organizing and managing events required
-
Strong cross-functional stakeholder management and process implementation skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously

Two professional references on file required, at least one from a manager-level or above (must be listed as 'Manager,' not 'Supervisor'), each including a performance evaluation — one within the last 12 months, the other within the last 3 years

Level 1 Trauma Hospital experience required

Manage marketing projects from inception through completion, including campaign support, inbound requests, and strategic hospital initiatives

Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact, leading project communication and coordinating client and internal team meetings

Monitor and track project risks and issues, developing solutions to ensure on-time and on-strategy delivery

Lead marketing support and execution for 1-2 signature hospital events, coordinating across event management teams

Partner with the Senior Marketing Project Manager to implement and maintain department workflows and processes

Utilize data and analytics to report on project performance and identify process improvements
