Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg position at a Level III Trauma Center in Gallatin, TN, requiring a minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg experience and an active TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract
• Work on a 12-bed Medical/Surgical unit within a 167-bed acute care hospital
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Every other weekend or as-needed weekend hours required
• No on-call requirements
• May float to other Med/Surg units as needed
• Charting performed in Meditech

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — RQI certifications are not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a Med/Surg setting
• 2+ years of Med/Surg experience preferred
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

Additional Information

• Level III Trauma Center facility fully accredited by The Joint Commission
• Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to assignment start
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Any color scrubs are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted
