Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ambulatory cardiology clinic Med/Surg position requiring cardiology experience and an active KY or compact RN license.

Details

• Position is located at an off-campus ambulatory cardiology clinic in Mount Vernon, KY
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Outpatient/ambulatory care setting focused on cardiology patients with acute and/or chronic health conditions
• Patient-centered care model with emphasis on quality, safety, and service
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license in good standing (no licensure hits accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Cardiology experience required
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include skilled patient assessments, care plan development and implementation, patient education, and clinical interventions
• Requires working knowledge of nursing and departmental policies, protocols, and procedures in a fast-paced ambulatory environment
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a travel nurse
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission — no RTO requests will be approved after submission
• Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
