American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical unit with a minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg experience and an active Michigan RN license required.

Work on a 37-bed Medical Surgical/Oncology unit (C5) within an inpatient hospital setting
-
Patient population includes general medical diagnoses, GI surgery, urology, gynecological surgery (hysterectomies, mastectomies), orthopedic/neurovascular, and cardiopulmonary cases
-
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30), with 36 or 48-hour week options available

Staffing ratio is typically 1:4–5 on days; up to 1:7 when working in an RN/LPN team model
-
Floating to other Med/Surg units required, approximately once per week depending on census needs
-
Every other weekend required

Active Michigan RN license required (pending license accepted with confirmed ETA)

Current BLS certification (AHA) required; pending accepted with confirmed willingness to obtain

Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience required; 2 years preferred

Availability required for the full first two weeks of orientation

Works alongside a multidisciplinary team including RNs, LPNs, and Techs across Med/Surg units

Block scheduling is not available for this assignment

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
