Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at a 49-bed facility in Alabama, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

Details

• 49-bed hospital Med/Surg unit
• Patient ratio of 1:6-7
• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on a 7-on/7-off schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required
• Epic EMR used

Requirements

• Active AL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Social Security Number required for consideration
• References from a leadership role (e.g., nurse manager) covering the last year of employment required for consideration, with a reference from each facility worked if applicable
• Current Med/Surg skills checklist (valid within one year) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is preferred
• 13-week assignment
• Employment history for the past 7 years must be provided, including facility names, specialties, and dates worked; gaps in employment of more than 30 days require a letter of explanation
