Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg PCU Nights position at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and an active WA or compact RN license.

• 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting
• Combined Med/Surg and PCU/Telemetry unit
• Adult med/surg patient population
• Flexibility to float to other departments as needed
• Night shift schedule
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Experience across Med/Surg, PCU, and Telemetry areas required
• COVID-19 vaccination not required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient education, safety measures, infection control, and accurate documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, and physician orders
• Operates and troubleshoots equipment in PCU, Telemetry, and Med/Surg areas
• Responsible for maintaining and restocking emergency carts, room supplies, and general supplies
• Communicates critical lab values to physicians per policy and provides thorough shift-change handoffs
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
