Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telephone Triage Call Center position requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum typing speed of 40 WPM in an on-site, Monday–Friday day shift setting.

Details

• On-site position at a telephone triage call center
• Handles an average of 90 calls and 170 in-basket messages daily, with approximately 120–150 live calls per day
• Responds to in-basket messages and prescription refill requests
• May float to the Rheumatology Triage department
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• No weekend requirements
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification in hand
• Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM required
• At least 2 years of recent experience in Telephone Triage, Clinic, Internal Medicine, ED, or Allergy/Immunology/Pulmonary settings
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
• Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible but will be offered a reduced pay rate
