American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of inpatient nursing experience, Cerner proficiency, and active travel nursing experience.

Inpatient Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) hospital setting

Telemetry patient population requiring continuous monitoring

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours/week)

Cerner EMR experience required

13-week contract
-
Active RN license (SC or Compact) — no pending licenses accepted

Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

CPI certification required — must be Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course

Minimum 2 years of inpatient nursing experience in a US hospital

Med/Surg Telemetry experience required

At least 6 months of prior travel nurse experience required

Cerner EMR experience required

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required

BSN highly desired

US Social Security Number required

Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments including review of systems, admission evaluations, and appropriate documentation

Delivers age-appropriate, patient- and family-centered care in accordance with licensure, certification, and regulatory requirements

All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
