Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Hospice/Palliative Care weekend program position in the Racine/Kenosha, WI area, requiring at least 12 months of hospice experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Weekend-only program serving the Racine/Kenosha area
• Schedule is every Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)
• This is an after-hours, field-based hospice RN role — not a case management position, and no caseload is assigned
• No floating requirements
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities
• Holidays that fall on a scheduled weekend shift are expected to be worked
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 12 months of RN experience in hospice or palliative care, with most recent experience within the last year
• Epic EMR experience
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Additional Information

• This is a shorter-term contract than standard travel assignments
• Role is part of the Supportive Care Team (SCT) within the Continuing Health division
• Provides after-hours hospice nursing care across the Racine/Kenosha area on weekends
