Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Hospice/Palliative Care position in the Spokane, WA area, requiring at least 1 year of skilled hospice experience and Home Care Home Base (HCHB) proficiency.

Details

• Home health/hospice setting serving Spokane, WA and surrounding areas
• Caseload of up to 6 patient visits per day with a standard productivity expectation of 30 points
• Day shift schedule, 8 hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• Charting via Epic (required) and Home Care Home Base/HCHB (laptop provided)
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state of Washington

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license; pending license accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of skilled hospice experience required
• Home Care Home Base (HCHB) experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Valid personal transportation required, as travel to patient homes is necessary
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides in-home hospice nursing care to patients across Spokane, WA and surrounding areas
• Patient locations are grouped to minimize drive time, though occasional visits may require travel of 50+ miles
• Any basic color scrubs are acceptable
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates within a 50–75 mile radius are considered local and are eligible at the same rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the submitting facility
• Refusal to float between facilities within Washington state may result in assignment termination
• RTO requests must be submitted prior to or at the time of submittal; requests made after offer may be denied
