American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Infusion position requiring MA licensure, Epic proficiency, and specialized skills in chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration and venous access management.

Infusion unit position within a hospital-based outpatient infusion setting
-
Patient population includes those receiving biologics, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and therapeutic phlebotomies
-
Scheduled Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour day shifts)

Epic EMR experience is required

Procedures include IV placement (PIVs, ultrasound-guided PIVs), port access, central line access and management, chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration, hypersensitivity reaction management, and therapeutic phlebotomy

Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

BLS certification required

ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certification preferred

Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Demonstrated competency with venous access including ports, PIVs, and ultrasound-guided PIVs
-
Experience with infusion therapies including biologics, chemotherapy, blood products, and therapeutic phlebotomy required

Administer a variety of infusion therapies and manage venous access for a diverse patient population
-
Recognize and manage hypersensitivity reactions during infusion therapy

Biweekly orientation schedule

Any color scrubs are acceptable

COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccine are required (medical exemptions permitted)

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered

Previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility — whether travel, permanent, or per diem — must have a minimum 6-month break before returning
