Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LTAC/Med-Surg travel position in Greensboro, NC, requiring vent/trach experience and AHA-certified ACLS and BLS.

Details

• Long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital setting, Med-Surg unit
• Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• 12-week contract
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (RQI and RCIS certifications are not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent LTAC or Med-Surg RN experience required
• Vent/trach experience required
• Knowledge of central lines required
• Wound care experience preferred
• All certifications must be current and not expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsible for delivering patient care using the nursing process in accordance with the NC Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrates critical thinking, clinical leadership, and supervision of assigned personnel in care delivery
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
• Prior work at any Kindred Hospital facility (permanent or contract) must be disclosed during the consideration process
