Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ambulatory Oncology/Hematology position requiring at least 2 years of experience and active Epic proficiency within the past 2 years.

Details

• Office-based ambulatory clinic setting focused on hematology and oncology patients
• Role centers on triage, care coordination, and clinic-based patient support — this is not an infusion position
• Uses Epic EMR; experience within the past 2 years is required
• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM day shift schedule
• No weekends or holidays required
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active VT or Compact RN license required; candidates without VT licensure will be considered but must apply within 24 hours of commitment — NY candidates may be considered with proof of pending NY license
• Current BLS certification required
• Chemo/biotherapy provider card required
• OCN certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Hematology/oncology and/or ambulatory care experience strongly preferred
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
• Two references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor required — at least one from the past 6 months and one from within the past year
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides triage, care coordination, and clinic-based support for hematology and oncology patients in an outpatient setting
• Public transportation is not accessible in this area; a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
• Bi-weekly Monday orientations are available for onboarding
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
• Complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type is required
