American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an outpatient oncology clinic position at a cancer center in Connecticut, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, and an ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider certification.

Outpatient clinic setting within a medical oncology and hematology oncology coverage pool

8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

No weekend, on-call, or major holiday requirements

Position works closely with the chemotherapy infusion room nursing team but does not directly administer infusion therapies

13-week assignment

Active CT RN license or Compact RN license required

Current BLS certification required

ONS Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy Provider Card required

Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required

Prior travel nursing experience required

Experience with oncology patients in an outpatient ambulatory care or outpatient clinic setting required

Ability to lift and restrain patients as needed

Strong phone triage and clinical problem-solving skills

Responsibilities include phone call triage and coordinating with the clinical team to address patient care needs

Must be comfortable working in a team-based environment alongside nursing staff in a busy oncology clinic

Exposure to communicable/infectious diseases is possible in this role

May be required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis to support unit coverage
