Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Orthopedics Med/Surg position at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated acute care hospital in Illinois, with night shift availability and a minimum of 2 years of experience required.

Details

• 38-bed Orthopedics unit within a 562-bed Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule: 4x12 or 3x12 hours (18:45–07:15)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to other Med/Surg departments required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Charting via Cerner (experience preferred)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required — pending licenses are not accepted
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• PICC line management and IV start skills required
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
