American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Orthopedics/Med-Surg unit position requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, prior travel experience, and Charge RN experience.

29-bed orthopedic and medical-surgical unit serving adult through geriatric patients
-
High-volume patient population includes total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and kyphoplasties
-
Moderate-volume patient population includes other surgical procedures, inpatient, and 24-hour observation medical patients
-
Telemetry monitoring available on the unit
-
On-unit physical therapy gym allows patients to receive PT without leaving the floor
-
Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
-
Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Floating required as needed
-
Charge RN shifts required as needed
-
Epic EMR — experience is mandatory
-
Active NC or Compact RN license required
-
Current BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Previous travel nursing experience required

Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Copy of driver's license required for consideration

All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility

Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
