Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in New York, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 3 years of cardiac/telemetry experience.

Details

• Inpatient hospital setting on a Cardiac/Tele or Med-Tele unit
• Requires ability to interpret, measure, and document cardiac rhythms twice per shift
• No block scheduling available for this assignment

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of experience on a Cardiac/Tele or Med-Tele unit required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must have reliable personal vehicle
• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Neuro/stroke experience highly preferred
• Must be able to pass a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance

Additional Information

• Previous experience at Glens Falls Hospital or Albany Med Health System must be disclosed during consideration
• RTO requests are limited to no more than 5 days for this assignment
• This is a highly patient-oriented unit with strong expectations around attendance and reliability
