American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical Telemetry Float Pool position requiring Epic experience, a Massachusetts RN license, and night shift availability with every-other-weekend requirements.

Position is based in a hospital Nursing Float Pool, with floating required to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units

Floating occurs in 4-hour blocks during a shift

Patient ratios range from 1:3 to 1:5

12-hour night shifts; weekends for nights include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on an every-other-weekend basis

Epic EMR experience is required

8-week contract

Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license currently in hand

BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required

ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred

Epic EMR experience required

Level 1 trauma experience preferred; Level 1 trauma experience required if no prior travel experience

Must have been separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility for a minimum of 6 months (permanent, per diem, or contract) to be eligible

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Day one pass/fail testing will be administered; Relias practice tests will be available in advance

COVID vaccine and booster, as well as flu vaccine, are required (medical exemptions are allowed)
