American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring Epic experience and a WV or compact RN license.

Acute care setting in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
-
16-bed unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
-
12-hour night shifts, 7pm–7am, 36 hours per week
-
Rotating weekends and holidays required
-
Epic EMR is used in this unit; experience is required
-
Floating to the telemetry unit may be required but is not routine
-
No on-call responsibilities

Active WV or compact RN license required

Current certifications required: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Candidate's driver's license address must reflect a residence more than 50 miles from the facility

An unexpired copy of your driver's license is required for consideration

Clinical responsibilities include continuous bladder irrigation (CBI), wound management, patient assessments, catheter care, and orthopedic patient care

EKG testing (pass/fail) is required for this unit prior to placement

Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying
-
Travelers who have worked within the WVU system for a cumulative total of one year must take a 2-year break before returning
-
Candidates may only be submitted to one WVU facility at a time
