Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a large hospital setting
• Day/Night rotating shifts: days 7:00am–7:30pm and nights 7:00pm–7:30am
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts; shift rotation may occur based on operational needs
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact state license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required prior to any travel assignments
• Must provide a copy of driver's license and Social Security card for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required to continue the assignment
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across all Cleveland Clinic locations; a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
