Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and Epic proficiency on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Telemetry monitoring with ECG rhythm recognition responsibilities
• Holiday coverage required at a minimum of every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the same specialty required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any assignments at this health system's locations
• A minimum 6-month gap is required before beginning another assignment at any location within this health system
