Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a TX or compact license, with night shifts and travel experience strongly preferred.

Details

• Hospital Med/Surg Tele unit setting
• Patient ratios of up to 6:1
• Night shift schedule (7p-7a) available as either 3x12 or 4x12 hours per week
• Floating to other Med/Surg/Tele units required as assigned
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions
• Candidates should avoid any substances that could produce a positive drug screen result prior to arrival, including CBD products
