Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry (Cardiac) position on a day shift schedule, requiring a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in the specialty.

Details

• Position is located on a Med/Surg Telemetry Cardiac unit (6 North)
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• Meditech EMR is used; prior experience is not required

Requirements

• Active AL or Compact RN license, fully active — no pending or temporary licenses accepted
• No hits (past or current) on nursing license allowed
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry or Cardiac experience
• Current driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references from within the last year required for consideration
• SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Cardiac-focused telemetry nursing care provided on the 6 North unit
• A Cardiac Exam will be required as part of the onboarding process after an offer is accepted
• No HealthStream modules required prior to start; competency-based modules are completed during virtual orientation
