American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) position requiring at least one year of NICU experience, night shift availability, and the ability to float throughout the children's units.

Work setting is a hospital-based Neonatal ICU (NICU)

Must be able to float to all children's units as needed

Night shift schedule: 7PM to 7AM
-
36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts per day

13-week contract

Active RN license (Oklahoma state or current multistate compact) required

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required

Current NRP certification from the AHA required
-
Minimum of 1 year of NICU nursing experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Full date of birth (DOB) required for consideration

Responsibilities include assuming care for an assigned group of neonatal patients, documenting responses to nursing interventions, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, and managing IV infusions and blood products

Involves collaborating with physicians during examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, and communicating care plans with patients' families

Previous travelers who have worked at this facility may return after a 6-month separation period, as workers are limited to one extension per engagement (26 weeks total)
