Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN with Level III experience and high frequency ventilation skills for a night shift travel contract in New Jersey.

Details

  • Work in a Level III NICU within a multi-hospital health system
  • Patient population includes micro preemies and high-acuity neonates requiring advanced ventilatory support
  • Patient ratio of 1:4
  • High frequency ventilation equipment used
  • Epic EMR (experience preferred)
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend (EOW) required
  • Floating required across up to 5 system hospitals within skillset (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and Our Lady of Lourdes)
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Block scheduling is not allowed

Requirements

  • Active NJ RN license or compact RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS and NRP
  • Minimum 3 years of NICU experience required
  • Level III NICU experience required
  • Experience with micro preemies and high frequency ventilation required
  • Two current professional references required for consideration
  • COVID-19 vaccine required, no exemptions
  • Flu vaccine required, no exemptions

Additional Information

  • The Voorhees location practices couplet care and staffs a Stork RN on each shift
  • Coverage required for 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday
  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible at a local pay rate
  • First-time travelers will be considered, though experienced travelers are preferred
  • RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — requests submitted after will not be accepted
