Location: Brooklyn, NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Pay(Travel) : Up to $3,214/week

Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel RN – Nurse Educator for an exciting job in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver nursing education programs and competency training for Med/Surg and L&D teams.

• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor, supporting nurses in the application of best practices and clinical standards.

• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify learning needs and design targeted training interventions.

• Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and continuing education programs for nursing staff.

• Maintain detailed documentation of educational sessions, staff progress, and competency outcomes.

• Provide strong clinical support, leveraging at least 2 years of direct Med/Surg nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) required; BSN preferred.

• Licensure: Active and unrestricted New York State RN license with Primary Source Verification from NYSED.

• Certifications: Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience; prior educator or preceptor experience highly preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
