American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience, pediatric experience, and a FL or compact RN license.

Hospital OR setting serving both adult and pediatric patient populations
-
Surgical services include ENT, General Surgery, Vascular, Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, GYN, Orthopedics, Spine, and Neurosurgery

Block schedule: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour day shifts)

3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift
-
No on-call required

EMR: Epic

Floating required — travelers are first to float, including potential float to sister campuses (all within 15–20 minutes)

Active FL RN license or compact RN license required
-
Current BLS certification required; CNOR preferred
-
Minimum 2 years of OR experience required

Pediatric (PEDS) OR experience required
-
Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred

Nursing degree from an accredited program required, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation documentation

Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (full-time housing in the area required for the duration of the contract)

Travelers are welcomed into the unit and are expected to function as core staff

Orientation begins on a Friday; includes remote orientation components, but candidates must be present at the facility in person for badge/ID processing

All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration and will not be approved afterward

No block scheduling requests will be accommodated beyond the standard assigned block schedule

Candidates must be flexible and willing to float to sister campuses as needed
