Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring a CA RN license, a minimum of 3 years of open heart experience, and on-call availability including weekend call rotations.

Details

• Day shift schedule: 4x8-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) setting within a hospital environment
• On-call is required across 4 call teams averaging 3 days of call per week and 1–2 weekends per month
• Weekend call runs from Friday at 3:00 PM through Monday at 6:30 AM
• Call team schedules: CV1 (3:00 PM – 6:30 AM), CV2 (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), Peds (3:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Mon/Tue/Thu), Hybrid (3:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
• Weekend call is covered by 2 teams: CV and Hybrid
• Block scheduling may be considered at the manager's discretion and should be discussed during the interview

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 3 years of open heart surgery experience required
• Pediatric cardiovascular and vascular hybrid experience preferred
• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Former employees or travelers must have been away for at least 1 year before returning in a travel capacity
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
