Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pre-op/PACU position at a Critical Access Hospital in rural Vermont, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience and an active VT or Compact RN license.

Details

• Critical Access Hospital (25-bed) setting in a rural area of Newport, Vermont
• Perioperative setting covering Pre-op and PACU
• Day shift, 4 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• On-call responsibilities required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active VT or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS/BCLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
• Personal vehicle required due to limited public transportation in the area

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include Pre-op and PACU nursing care in a Critical Access Hospital environment
• Attendance at department quarterly education sessions is required
• The facility is located in Newport, VT, a small town on the Canadian border in the Northeast Kingdom region, known for outdoor recreation including hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling
