Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric PACU position requiring 2-3 years of pediatric post-anesthesia and pre-testing experience and an active DC RN license.

Details

• Position is in a Pediatric PACU unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• 13-week contract
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active DC RN license currently in hand — candidates who have not yet applied for their DC license cannot be considered
• Minimum 2-3 years of pediatric post-anesthesia care (PACU) experience required
• Pre-testing/pre-operative experience required
• Clean background and license history required — no exceptions
• Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• Any required onboarding modules must be completed within the first week of the assignment
• Any missed shifts due to call-outs must be made up at the end of the contract
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
