Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Psychiatric RN for a night shift travel contract requiring an active NH or compact RN license and current BLS and CPI or MOAB certifications.

Details

• Inpatient psychiatric unit setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Floating to a nearby sister facility may be required

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required — temporary licenses are not accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS and either CPI or MOAB
• Minimum 2 years of psychiatric RN experience required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license required

Additional Information

• Weekly orientation provided
• 3 professional references required upon commitment (at least 2 must be from a manager or charge RN — no peer or coworker references accepted)
• Former permanent staff are eligible to return as travelers after a minimum 12-month break in service
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be placed on a local pay rate
