Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Psychiatric RN for a Behavioral Health position on an Adult Crisis Unit, requiring 2 years of experience with day/evening shift availability.

Details

• Adult Crisis Unit within a psychiatric hospital setting (337 staffed beds)
• Day and evening shifts available: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and 3:00 PM–11:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• 40 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope to any age population is required when scheduling demands
• No on-call responsibilities
• Charting via Sunrise EMR
• Free employee parking available on campus

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health/Psychiatric RN experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland prior to start

Additional Information

• RNs may be required to serve as charge nurse during a shift
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Up to 1 pre-approved RTO request allowed during the assignment
