Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an inpatient rehabilitation unit in Muscle Shoals, AL, with 2+ years of experience and skills in IVs, blood transfusions, and wound care.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit (JW Sommer Rehab Unit) within a hospital setting
• Geriatric and adult patient population with common diagnoses including strokes, multiple trauma, and ortho/neuro conditions
• Patient ratio of 1:7 on a 32-bed unit
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AL or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Proficiency in IVs, blood transfusions, and wound care required
• Rehab specialty experience preferred but not required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• RQI certifications are not accepted — standard BLS or equivalent required

Additional Information

• Care for geriatric and adult patients recovering from strokes, multiple trauma, and ortho/neuro conditions
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• Scrub color: navy or royal blue
