American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an inpatient Adult Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) night shift position requiring at least 1 year of rehab or med/surg experience and an active MO or compact RN license.

Inpatient Adult Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) in an acute care hospital setting

Rehab and med/surg patient population

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week

13-week contract
-
Rotating weekends every other week
-
Rotating holiday coverage required
-
Float to other units as needed

Epic EMR
-
Active RN license — must be licensed in Missouri or eligible for MO licensure; compact license accepted

A valid U.S. Social Security Number is required; Canadian SINs are not accepted

Current BLS certification required
-
Minimum 1 year of recent rehab or med/surg nursing experience
-
No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment (unless renewal documentation is provided)

No gaps in employment of 90 or more days within the past 12 months
-
Black scrubs are required; no other scrub colors are accepted

Flu vaccination is mandatory from November 1 through April 1; declinations and exceptions are not accepted

Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment

Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate
-
Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
