Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 1 year of telemetry experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required
• BLS certification required — must be AHA-issued and valid through the assignment start date
• ACLS required as appropriate for unit
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• English proficiency required (speak, read, write)
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for med/surg telemetry patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Any requested time off must be disclosed upfront
