American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 1 year of telemetry experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting

Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

13-week contract

Epic EMR used for charting
-
Floating to other departments may be required based on business need

On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted

Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required

BLS certification required — must be AHA-issued and valid through the assignment start date

ACLS required as appropriate for unit

Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
-
Epic EMR experience required

English proficiency required (speak, read, write)

DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for med/surg telemetry patients

Performs health teaching, counseling, and ongoing patient monitoring

Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
-
Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
