Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Float Pool Telemetry position in Rocky Mount, NC, requiring at least 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital float pool setting
• Float coverage required between the Med/Surg Telemetry Unit (MTSU), Cardiopulmonary Step-Down Unit (CPSU), Special Progressive Care Unit, and Cardiac Observation Unit
• Cardiac and insulin drip management is part of the patient care scope
• Telemetry monitoring is a core component of the role
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Cardiac drip and insulin drip experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required for consideration
• SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside 50 or more miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• No on-call responsibilities
