Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry/Med-Surg unit position requiring a GA or Compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of nursing experience.

Details

• Position is located on a Cardiac Telemetry/Med-Surg unit (4th Floor)
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a minimum separation of 18 months is required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract when not near a holiday, and a maximum of 3 days when RTO falls on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract
• RTO during holiday periods must be spread out and will not be approved if consecutive days are requested around the same holiday
