Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU position requiring neuro experience, night shift availability, and the ability to float across multiple hospital locations.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a mixed MS and PCU patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Will float within a system of 5 hospitals based on unit needs (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and Our Lady of Lourdes)
• May float to the ICU to support downgraded PCU patients
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Neuro experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Two professional references required for consideration
• COVID-19 vaccine required with no exemptions
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

Additional Information

• Must pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing — only 2 attempts are allowed, and the test must be completed on a PC (not an iOS device, which is incompatible and will register as a failed attempt); failure to pass within the allotted time or two failed attempts will result in contract cancellation and a DNR from the hospital system
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of submission — RTO requests made after submission will not be accepted
• First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred
