Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PCU/Telemetry position at an academic medical center in Ohio, requiring 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and the ability to pass a telemetry test.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a large academic medical center setting
• Telemetry monitoring of PCU patient population
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and IV certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in IV starts, medication administration, lab interpretation, and patient education
• Must be able to pass a facility telemetry competency test

• Responsibilities include IV management, telemetry monitoring, medication administration, lab review, and patient education
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
• No break period required between assignments when changing representation (except for Sterile Processing Techs, who require a 30-day break)
