American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel assignment requiring cardiac telemetry experience and Epic proficiency.

Hospital-based Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Weekend rotation required
-
Holiday rotation required
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Patient ratio of 1:5 in the PCU
-
Cardiac telemetry monitoring, including management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
-
Peripheral line care and management, PICC line management, and titration of drips
-
EMR: Epic experience is mandatory
-
Floating between all health system campuses is required as needed
-
Active NC or Compact RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
-
Cardiac telemetry experience required
-
Experience with PCU patient ratios (1:5) required
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Driver's license (DL) required for consideration
-
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Provide telemetry nursing care in a progressive care setting, including dysrhythmia interpretation, drip titration, and line management
-
All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during the compliance process; two attempts are allowed
-
No study materials will be provided by the facility — candidates should prepare for the EKG exam in advance
-
Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
