Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position specializing in acute cardiac, vascular, and thoracic care, with a minimum of 2 years of cardiac telemetry experience required.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes adults with acute cardiac, vascular, and thoracic needs, including post-op open heart (day one), stents, devices, ablations, chest pain rule-outs, and post vascular and thoracic surgeries
• Experience with antiarrhythmic drips (amiodarone, cardizem) and heart failure drips (lasix, bumex, milrinone, dobutamine) required
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active MT RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac telemetry RN experience required
